Hello, my name is Terry Hatchett. Thank you for visiting my website.
I am a talented Logistics Management professional with exceptional skills and over 15 years experience in transportation, inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging. Logistics is what I do, it is my passion.
By definition, Logistics is the management of the flow of goods between the point of origin and the point of use in order to meet the requirements of customers or corporations. Without a well run Logistics division, a company cannot succeed in the 21st century market. Even so, through my experience I have come to realize that Logistics Managers are often not a major contributor to company strategies and decisions.
It is my desire to share my ideas in the field of Logistics Management and to change the stereotypical “how hard can it be to get it from point A to point B” attitude that is so pervasive in business. My goal to help Logistics Managers earn a seat at the executive table and positively influence the company’s bottom line.
Again I thank you for your visit to my blog site; I hope to have very candid and open discussions with all of my visitors.
Best Regards
Terry Hatchett
Logistics Manager
Hey T.J.!
It’s John Benjamin, your old TA from CH202. Glad to see you’re doing well. Anyway, it’s funny I came across your page because I’m actually hoping to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Logistics Management after I finish that damned Master’s (still working on it.) Anywho, I haven’t really begun the process yet but I’m hoping to talk with the coordinator of the Logistics program at TMCC to get more information on what’s involved. Since this is what you do for a living, I imagine you would be a very valuable resource. I hope we get to chat in the future, especially once I get into the thick of the program.
Best
John
John,
The masters thing will be over before you know it…. I would be more than happy to share any or all my knowledge on the subject, come up with some questions and I will try to answer them, or at least find them for you. Nice to hear from you.
Regards
T.j.
